Boynton Beach Bathroom - Full Remodel

Description: The original bathroom was in good overall condition apart from the lower section of the bath/shower walls, some damp, cracking tiles & grout.
Design & Construction: The condition of the room was fair to average with no major issues. The bathroom had undergone several poor quality updates over the years and it required a complete remodel to fix all of the outstanding small issues. We stripped the room back to the stud, installed all new plumbing hardware, structure, lighting and a new extractor fan. Due to the property layout, increasing the room size wasn’t possible, so we downsized the width of the custom vanity to create a more usable space for the client.
We installed a complete Schluter Shower System for the shower walls, wall niche, shower floor pan, a linear drain system and low profile shower curb. Mosaic marble wall tiles and Carrera marble floor tiles in herringbone pattern. Added a frameless glass panel and frameless glass door, retained the original nearly new toilet. Kohler brushed brass shower and vanity hardware, imported Spanish wall scone lights.

Lake Worth Kitchen - Full Remodel

Location: North Ocean Breeze, Lake Worth, Florida. 33460
Description: Three bedroom single level property with large open-plan kitchen. No major issues but, poor quality builder grade materials and dated design.
Design & Construction: Excellent original open-plan layout with large central island with existing plumbing and electrical. Client requested less upper cabinets and a more open design. We relocated the fridge and added a free standing central oven/range. The microwave was relocated to the island. The custom cabinets were extended to the ceiling and glass upper cabinets installed to reflect the natural light. A large pantry cabinet was added to the right side to balance out the large panelled fridge.
The custom off-white shaker style cabinets feature under cabinet lighting and interior back lighting for the upper glass units. Mosaic marble back-splash and brushed brass hot water range supply arm. The island design was simplified and extended by 8” to make use of the extra space. Countertop is dark grey honed quartz combined with a farmhouse sink. We installed a superb 100% waterproof NuCore vinyl floating floor.

West Palm Beach Bathroom - Full Remodel

Location: West 4th, Mangonia Park, West Palm Beach, Florida. 33407
Description: This outdated master bathroom had a loverly garden view and good natural light. Poor previous construction with substantial water damage from the shower.
Design & Construction: One of our favorite renovations so far, such a dramatic change from the previous style. We stripped out the entire bathroom back stud walls, inspected, repaired and upgraded the structure as needed. We removed the dated block glass window and increased the size of the framing so we would fit a ‘standard size’ triple pane window. The original ceramic floor tiles were completely removed, the plumbing and electrical were inspected and repaired as needed.
We installed a complete Schluter Kerdi System for the shower walls, shower pan and low profile curb, along with Schluter Ditra floor membrane throughout the bathroom. The client wanted a traditional yet modern look and feel, so we installed one of our favorite and most popular tile combinations. Carrera marble 4x12 porcelain wall tile with bevelled edge, grey marble hexagon mosaic floor tiles and 6x24 natural porcelain wood ‘effect’ room tiles. The theme was continued with a crystal white double vanity and large teak mirror - Stunning!

Location: North West 85th Avenue, Doral, Florida. 33178
Description: Single level Doral home close to the golf course. Original layout, poorly built updates completed several years ago. No major issues other than sub-par workmanship.
Design & Construction: Part of an on-going full home renovation, this simple bathroom was in need of a complete remodel. With very poor workmanship and the dreaded formica counter top, everything needed to be stripped out. Other than increasing the shower length by 12” the original layout was kept so the clients budget could be focused in other areas. The client requested a ‘Restoration Hardware’ look but, on a more sensible budget, a traditional look which is timeless.
We secured for the client an end of run, hand made ceramic tile for an amazing price. Unfortunately this was very limited supply and in two different colors but, when mixed and matched it in stacked and subway pattern, the effect is person is truly stunning and well worth the extra installation time. Small mosaic ‘penny’ tiles and frameless shower glass complete the look. Brass hardware and faucets by Delta and Moen. Double vanity mirrors by Restoration Hardware, overhead light and porcelain floor tiles by Home Depot.

Surfside Bathroom - Full Remodel

Location: Emerson Avenue, Surfside, Miami, Florida. 33154
Description: Single level Surfside home with original building layout. Last cosmetic update in 2004. No major issues other than small areas of damp, required a full re-design.
Design & Construction: This master bathroom had an excellent original layout with a loverly corner window and a good sized bath/shower. We removed the tub and completely stripped out the shower enclosure, including all the tile, knee wall, drywall/cement board plus the double vanities, mirrors and light fixtures. We squared off the arched entrance way and ran new plumbing for the beautiful Woodbridge gold bathtub faucet. The bath/shower drainage, toilet location and water supplies remained in the original location.
Two custom lilac vanities with quartz countertops and Duravit under-mount sinks where installed at either end of the room. Brushed brass hardware, faucet and wall mirrors by Restoration Hardware. Benjamin Moore paint and natural ‘wood effect’ porcelain floor tile. The gorgeous shower tile is white ‘Retro Scallop’ mosaic complimented with b/w marble herringbone floor and niche tile. Dual custom lilac vanities complete the look.

Pompano Kitchen - Full Remodel

Location: NW 10th Street, Pompano Beach, Florida. 33060
Description: Out dated kitchen from the 1980’s, it was fair condition with no problems or leaks, excellent layout with fantastic natural light.
Design & Construction: We removed all cabinets, fixtures and hardware back to the original stud walls, inspected and updated structure as needed. Ceiling bulk head above cabinets was removed to increase the height of the kitchen, lighting was relocated to the new ceiling. Removed non-load bearing walls for fridge re-location and installed a teak sliding panel double pane exterior window. All services (plumbing/electrical plus sink and oven) remain in the original location, saving unnecessary additional costs.
Custom, high gloss dark blue cabinets and brass hardware, quartz countertops, custom walnut island countertop and traditional white subway tiles complete the look. Due to the huge amount of storage in the kitchen, the client decided on an exposed shelving layout for the upper cabinets, creating a more open feel and complimenting the superb natural light. Custom range extractor fan shroud, Viking mini range & Kraus sink.

Biscayne Office - Full Remodel

Location: NE 10th Avenue, Biscayne Park, Miami, Florida. 33161
Description: Ground floor, un-used third bedroom in a two story house in N.Miami. The room was in excellent condition with new paint and a new engineered floating floor.
Design & Construction: This ground floor third bedroom was very large and gave us two options for the client. 1. Create one open space with large work areas or 2. Separate it into two rooms, one for a corner office, the other area for storage - the client chose the latter. The office was to have a light and airy feel, so we focused on the window side of the large room for the office section and added two interior partition walls in an L shape to create one square office room with a large entrance on right side.
Once the room dimensions where configured, we installed gorgeous custom dove grey upper and lower cabinets with matte black hardware. The wrap around countertop/desktop is in crystal white by Corian Counters. Our client supplied the floating shelves and we added our favorite reclining office chairs by West Elm. To finish off the new room, we sourced two large farm house style doors and added a heavy duty industrial sliding rail.

Coral Springs Bathroom - Full Remodel

Description: Large four bedroom property with original 2010 construction. No major issues other than poor quality materials & poor design. New owner requested a full update.
Design & Construction: The overall condition of the bathroom was very good, it had been well maintained and serviced by the previous owner (a trade professional). We advised our client that many of the features could be kept and with some high quality additions it would make a magical space. We were able to retain the bathtub, faucet and knee wall. The floor tile was completely removed due to hollow areas and lippage. All water & drainage suppliers remained original, saving additional costs.
With generous 12ft ceilings, we were able to install a beautiful crystal chandelier above the re-conditioned original bath tub along with insulated ceiling pot lights and updated extractor fan. Beautiful wall scones above the large double vanity, a full Wedi Shower System and custom wood panelling above the bath and window. Gorgeous 10x22 Carrera marble wall tile, installed in vertical stack pattern, distressed wood effect for floor tile.

North Beach Bathroom - Full Remodel

Description: The original bathroom was in good overall condition apart from the lower section of the shower walls and floor pan, damp, cracking tiles & grout.
Design & Construction: Since the shower had to be completely rebuild, the client decided on a full bathroom renovation and update. We removed all the tile, shower enclosure, the vanity and toilet. Demolition revealed poorly installed tile, no waterproofing, water damage, damp and generally poor construction overall. We rebuilt the shower using Schluter Kerdi wall board and Ditra membrane for the main floor. Shower size was increased by 8" inches to incorporate a corner shower bench. All services remain in the same location.
Special order ‘his and hers’ double vanity with integrated sink and countertop. Gold/crystal wall scones connected to the original lighting and ventilation system. Gold hardware and faucet supplied by client. Bevelled gold framed vanity mirrors by Restoration Hardware. Spanish porcelain floor tile and beautiful dark green ceramic subway tile installed in stack pattern and herringbone pattern. White penny tiles and Duravit ‘classic’ toilet.

Calabasas Kitchen / Lounge Remodel

Location: Park Verdi, Calabasas, Los Angeles. 91302
Description: Single level, 1970’s ‘ranch-style’ California house. Average condition, solid exterior structure and roof, double garage, full renovation.
Design & Construction: This beautiful full home renovation was completed with one of our long term California partners. The original layout of the home was good, requiring only two interior partition walls to be removed. All services in the kitchen were kept in the same location, reducing costs. The pantry wall was removed and the gorgeous two tone cabinets by IKEA where extended through to make one large open-plan kitchen with breakfast bar. Bosch appliances, farmhouse sink and black faucet by Kraus.
We added an engineer hardwood floating floor throughout the kitchen and lounge, replaced the windows with superb triple pane units for added light and style. All the bathrooms (two and half) are a mixture of grey/white porcelain and glass tile installed in stacked and herringbone pattern. Kohler bath, toilet and sinks throughout, Delta brushed brass shower hardware and wall mounted vanity faucets.

Key Biscayne Townhouse Remodel

Location: Sunrise Drive, Key Biscayne, Miami, Florida. 33149
Description: This two level townhouse has a fantastic open layout, requiring minimal major structural changes. Client requested a ground floor kitchen, lounge & bathroom renovation.
Design & Construction: Although the original layout was excellent, the property required a substantial update and re-design due to previous poor maintenance. The new owner requested a simple, clean look with lots of white and neutral tones. We stripped out all three rooms, repaired various interior walls and updated the lighting throughout. The concrete floor required leveling in several areas so a new laminate floor could be installed to our very high standards.
The stairs leading to the second floor had a simple and cool design but, they were badly presented with heavy black finish. The lower section was painted the wall color and we carried over the laminate floor onto the stair treads, making the original railing a new design feature. We installed shaker style kitchen cabinets, quartz counter tops and Samsung S/S appliances. Property was to be rented, so we added a Nest entrance security system.

Hialeah Bathroom - Full Remodel

Description: The original bathroom was a late 80’s installation, it was showing many signs of water damage and age. The bath and shower had become unusable due to leakage.
Design & Construction: We removed everything back to original stud work and repaired the structure as required. The ceiling hight was increased by 6 inches, the plumbing inspected and updated with PEX as needed. The original shower drainage, toilet location and wall water supply remained in the same location, saving the client unnecessary additional costs. We installed new plumbing for the vanity and shower mixer, plus a complete waterproofing solution on the walls and floor by Mapei.
Custom dove grey vanity with Carrera Marble countertop and Kohler under-mount sink. Brass plated faucet and shower mixer by Delta, toilet and bathtub by Duravit. Ceiling mounted vanity pendant lights and additional insulated pot lights, all on new dimmers. The large oval brass mirror is by Wayfair. Tile is 4x4 ceramic wall tile, black/white mosaic flower tile and 6x2 grey porcelain floor tile in herringbone style.

City Apartment:
Location: NE 4th Street, Miami, Florida. 33132
2 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom - 2090 sq ft²
Completed towards the end of 2018, this superb water view city apartment was a special commission from one of our international clients. The apartment features huge 20 ft ceilings, traditional fireplace and our favorite Kahrs parquet hardwood floating floors.
The building offers truly amazing amenities, including a roof top pool, cinema, spa, gym and rotating vehicle storage. A one of a kind re-design for a customer with outstanding taste.

Located in one of the best neighborhoods in beautiful Coconut Grove, this amazing three bedroom property was transformed by WoodHaus into an ultra cool Spanish style sub-penthouse.
By using soft muted colors, natural wood floors, a custom roof deck, upgraded bathrooms and an open plan kitchen/lounge area, make this property truly unique. The outdoor BBQ and Kahrs hardwood floors are just fantastic!

Like a beautifully tailored suit, this exquisite boutique apartment is one of favorite builds so far and our third project for this client. Re-claimed and refinished parquet wood floors, modern furniture and classic European style wall moldings complete the look.

One of our most recent full projects, this amazing four level contemporary Townhouse was purchased as a derelict basic concrete structure in late 2018. We completely rebuilt, restored and upgraded the property to an exceptionally high standard.
Features include: A ground floor garage, hardwood flooring throughout, Schindler elevator, open plan kitchen and lounge, bi-folding terrace doors, full glass terrace, rain showers, custom carpentry, solar power and a jacuzzi.

Purchased by one of our long term client in early 2018, this is one of our first projects in the city and still one of our favorites. With the main building having under gone a major structural renovation and restoration, our client was given the opportunity of buying a blank, partly restored 18th floor apartment.
We installed a gorgeous modern kitchen & bathroom, updated lighting, additional classic wood trim and wall moldings, Walnut parquet hardwood floors and a full interior furniture design.

Located in an elegant art-style building with elevator, this luxury one bedroom apartment has amazing views over the Calabasas hills and coast.
WoodHaus opened up the lounge area and installed large sliding glass doors onto the terrace. As with all our projects, the kitchen was a major focus point, we removed the small entrance doorway and installed some high gloss modern cabinets and the very best appliances by Smeg.

Located in a lively and vibrant street of Wynwood close to the amazing cafes and restaurants, this fully restored apartment building is an absolute gem.
The blue themed large living space with one of our tailor made kitchens and Smeg appliances is a perfect blend for super trendy apartment in the city. Our client rents this beautiful apartment consistently throughout the year, providing a superb return on investment.

This beautiful corner apartment is located in a loverly quiet street close to the convention centre. The building features an upgraded elevator & impressive marble entrance.
We completed a partial refurbishment on the kitchen, bathrooms and living area. Notice how the unique Italian floor tiles tie together several rooms as one space instead of using different materials and transitions. Well planned details make a big difference.

This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom luxury mezzanine apartment is situated close to the fabulous Delray shore club, a highly sort after area for many of our clients. The building has a stunning renovated main entrance and upgraded elevator.
The open kitchen is in the heart of apartment giving access the home office and rear patio decorated with a wood deck and loverly plants. A fantastic mixture of modern Scandinavian and vintage Spanish style.

Beautiful two bedroom apartment situated close to the Miami Springs Golf Club - a highly sort after area for many of our clients because of great schools and amenities and golf.
A superbly maintained building with elevator and parking. The apartment layout and original stone floor were maintain, we added an upgraded kitchen with additional storage plus full bathroom renovations, giving the property a fresh new look.
